JOHN LAWS MORNING SHOW NETWORK The network carrying the John Laws Morning Show, heard Monday to Friday in every Australian state and territory, climbs to a record 73 stations. The John Laws Morning Show’s 12 new stations will add close to one million people to the network’s total population base. The boost in stations follows the decision of Bill Caralis’ Supernetwork group to broadcast the program across all of its stations. "The overwhelmingly favourable impact the John Laws Morning Show has had on the five Supernetwork stations that joined the network last February has led to this very exciting development,” announced Mr Bill Barrington, general manager of Southern Cross Syndication which networks the John Laws program. Eleven of the new stations are located in New South Wales, the other being FM 104.1 on Queensland’s Gold Coast. "This means that from early next year John Laws will be heard on 32 stations in NSW alone,” said Mr Barrington. The new markets are Parkes (2PK), Mudgee (2MG), Dubbo (2DU), Gunnedah (2MO), Moree (2VM), Inverell (2NZ), Armidale (2AD), Grafton (2GF), Taree (2RE), Lismore (2LM) and Tweed Heads-Murwillumbah (Radio 97). As well, the program is heard on 15 stations in Queensland , 10 in Victoria, six in Tasmania , four in South Australia , three in Western Australia , two in the Northern Territory and one in the Australian Capital Territory. 'The Supernetwork decision is clearly an enormous acknowledgement of John Laws ’ popularity and influence,” says Mr Barrington. In terms of the program’s total reach, the John Laws Morning Show will be heard by an estimated daily audience of two million people in more than 1,500 cities and towns throughout the wide brown land of Australia. |
